It is always exciting to watch a superhero save the day. It may take time but the superhero will always defeat the villain.
Working in customer service gives the same vibes. You get some 007 moments and other times, โInvincibleโ moments. You could wake up on some days feeling like you have the solution for world peace and other days, it might seem like you were hit by a hurricane.
In this profession, it is never 9 to 5 but rather a 24/7 kind of parole because when you are not attending to customers, you are thinking about attending to customers. Although the customer service team in most organizations do not get the accolades they deserve (they do not rate us), we will pat ourselves on the back and give ourselves the accolades we deserve. You have all remained on the forefront despite the pandemic, distance hasnโt been a barrier, and customer service has
stayed on the front line (You didnโt lose focus).
Human beings arenโt exactly the easiest bunch to relate with or please. Some make you want to pull out your hair (honestly, most of them) while some give you this warm fuzzy feeling of accomplishment with their ceaseless โThank youโ and โGod bless youโ. It is because of these people we wake up every morning and go to work because as Marie Osmond said, โBeing of service to others is what brings true happinessโ.
This week we celebrate us, the โnon-cape-wearing members of the superheroes clubโ as we remain on the front line and keep making a difference, one customer at a time.
It is always a good day to save lives.
P.S: If you know any customer support personnel, give them a big hug and squeeze like NGN200k in their hands. They need it!
T for Thanks from all Customer Success Teams.
Cheers to the Power of Service
Cheers to the Power to serve more.
